Angie Bixby is our instructor, and we are extremely pleased with how lessons are going. Our children (ages 8 and 3) were swimming and knew how to float on their backs within the first 5 lessons (50 minutes' worth of instruction). We spend alot of time at a nearby lake, and in our second week into lessons, our youngest jumped off a boat into the lake (with life jacket on). We realized as soon as she splashed into the water that an older cousin had told her to jump in. She knew what to do, floated on her back, and was pretty proud of what she'd done. Even though it was not ideal she did it without our permission and we had a talk about that later, we could not be MORE THANKFUL our kids are learning what to do when they're in the water and how to find air and move in the water. We are very thankful for Angie and ISR. Couldn't be more pleased with lessons so far! Erin V

We love Angie Bixby. This is our second year taking lessons with her and my kids are doing amazing with their swim-float-swim sequence and their confidence. 

The best measurement of our ISR instructor (Angie Bixby) is by our son’s response to her. Through the tears, there is trust, commitment, and celebration. His confidence is easy to see as each lesson progresses his skills. We are very impressed with Angie’s patience and belief in our child’s abilities.

Angie Bixby is a fantastic instructor! She is clam, patient, and gentle. She is very intuitive to what each child needs form her.
